"Brown's Manassas Subaru will be at the top of my list"

I recently performed a ton of research for a vehicle to replace my 2006 Toyota 4-Runner. I loved my 4-Runner but was looking for a little better gas mileage and a new vehicle. After test driving several vehicles I had settled on replacing it with a Toyota RAV-4 or a Honda CRV. I had not even considered a Subaru during all of this research. I went out to do my final test drive. I went by the Honda dealer and drove the CRV and decided on the spot that it didn’t have enough power for me. The engine worked really hard on a particular hill. I then headed to the Toyota dealer and on the way passed a Subaru dealer. I decide to stop by and by chance they had just gotten the new 2014 Foresters. I was quite blown away by this little vehicle and ended up taking it home. By the way this is a nice vehicle for the price. The driver visibility is outstanding and handling is great, aided by a small turning circle and good acceleration for a 4 cylinder not to mention the fuel economy. But the story continues. Remember I had a 4-Runner an excellent and rugged vehicle. After driving the Forester for a few days I wanted something a little more luxurious and substantial. Thinking that I would never be able to afford to trade it back to them I sulked for a few weeks. Finally I sent an email to Eric Bukhari (Sales) and Patrick Hall (GM) informing that I was not happy with my purchase. They asked me to come in to see if we could work something out. I went in but I honestly doubted that anything could be worked out to my satisfaction. I had seen something similar happen to an acquaintance and the dealer didn’t even get close to a reasonable deal. I test drove the 2014 Outback and really liked it a lot. It felt more substantial, like my 4-Runner and the gas mileage was much better. I talked to Patrick and he let me know that I would lose some money and I let him know that I couldn’t lose much. I ended up buying the 2014 Outback and I love the car. I asked Eric to give me a tour of the features and believe me he knows Subaru. He walked me around the Outback explaining the outstanding features in just enough detail to impress. I also need to mention Rafel Jabour (Finance) who pointed out some of the concessions that Patrick had made for me to be able to buy this car and end up with a satisfied customer. I know they didn’t lose money on me but I am grateful for the effort and the honesty from this business. I love honesty. When purchasing in the future Brown’s Manassas Subaru will be at the top of my list.
